It is that time of the year when summer is just around the corner, and all I can think of is a vacation on a Mediterranean beach. The photographs of Georges Dambier are also adding to this desire to lay on a beach all day. Dambier’s career took off when he took a photo of Rita Hayworth at the famous Paris night club Le Jimmy’s. He was later hired by Elle magazine and started to take pictures of models smiling and full of life. Dambier’s was able to create intimate images because he was able to put his subjects at ease. That’s why these images are so bright!
