While researching alabaster, I found beautiful ancient vessels and statues from the Middle East made from the stone. My favorite pieces I found are the Ancient Egyptian jars that were used for mummification and were buried with a person after their death. It’s amazing how they created such beautiful objects to be taken with them to their next life.
